NautaDutilh advises Rabobank on financing the acquisition of the book-publishing division of Persgroep Nederland (PCM) by WPG Uitgevers
Friday 22 January 2010 saw the closure of WPG Uitgevers’ acquisition of A.W. Bruna and Standaard Uitgevers (Suske en Wiske). WPG (Bezige Bij, Vrij Nederland, Voetbal International and Happinez) will share the book-publishing division of Persgroep Nederland (formerly PCM Uitgevers) with the Belgian publishing house Lannoo (Trotter travel guides).
Rabobank is financing the acquisition and operating capital and has been assisted by a NautaDutilh team led by Thijs Lommen and consisting of Marjolein Paulus, Cathelijn Frederiks, Deirdre Scheenjes, Gijs ter Braak, Julian Blum, Wijnand Bossenbroek, Arief van Rhee, Anne Marie Verschuuur, Ann Blaton, Nathalie van Landuyt and Yvette Verleisdonk.
