CommunityCommitment & Diversity
By recruiting people who are on the same wavelength, leads to remarkable initiatives, and we provide the best possible conditions for such initiatives to flourish.
Think Green Committee: The role of the Think Green Committee is to create environmental awareness throughout the office. The committee's efforts resulted in Brussels Environment (Leefmilieu Brussel/Bruxelles Environnement) awarding us a three-star Ecodynamic Organistion Label (Label Ecodynamische Onderneming/Label Entreprise Ecodynamique). NautaDutilh was awarded its first (one-star) Ecodynamic Organisation Label in 2006. In fact, NautaDutilh was the first law firm in the Brussels-Capital Region to earn an Ecodynamic Organisation Label. The label assesses the environmental performance of companies by rating their environmental initiatives on a scale of one, two or three stars after a thorough audit.
Green building: In March 2010, our Brussels offices moved to the Solaris building, one of the few green office buildings in Brussels. The Solaris building has been recognised both for its eco-friendly design and its light ecological footprint.
Diversity Committee: We are firmly convinced of the benefits of a diverse workforce and, to that end, have established a firm-wide Diversity Committee. The committee is composed of employees from all seniority levels and departments. Together with other law firms, we've also created the Women in Law (WILL) Program, a training program for young female lawyers intended to improve their soft skills and provide them with the tools they need to succeed in the legal profession. The goal is to encourage talented female lawyers to pursue a career at law firms and prevent them from leaving the bar after a few years, despite their obvious qualifications and potential.
