Employment Law Booster: Saturday - working day | 4-day work week | Alternating weekly working regime
As from 1 January 2023, Saturday will no longer be considered a working day in Belgian employment law. This important change will have many implications on those notifications which are subject to strict procedural rules. Employers will have to observe other legal deadlines in the event of, for example, an employee dismissal.
Philippe François and Thierry Duquesne of our Employment & Pensions practice will guide you through the implications of this change on employment law. They will also discuss the 4-day work week and the alternating weekly working regime. Are you obliged to accept workers' requests?
Presentations will be given in the speaker's mother tongue (i.e. Dutch or French), but all handouts will be in both languages.

Please note that lawyers and employees of other law firms cannot participate in this event.
