It is important that ESG is duly integrated in the governance structure. Dedicated attention for the incorporation of ESG in the governance at board level and throughout the company’s operations is key, translating in a holistic approach. Suitability of board members and the organisation, training of staff and alignment of processes to ensure that ESG is an integral part of strategy and decision making are becoming increasingly important.
