Get up to speed with the latest ETS-related measures at NautaDutilh's webinar 'Fit for 55 – The Role of the EU Emissions Trading System', to be held on Wednesday, 1 December, from 10:00 – 11:00 CET. This online session will be led by our experts Iris Kieft, Jens Mosselmans and Stef Feyen.
The webinar will focus on the ETS-related measures enshrined in the EU's Fit for 55 package. In addition, we will address the thorny issue of whether Member States can take additional policy initiatives to reduce carbon emissions, especially in those sectors originally covered by the EU ETS. Finally, after briefly comparing the Dutch and Belgian situations, we will delve into what is currently possible and which (legal) challenges lie ahead.
This online session is especially relevant for HSE managers and specialised counsel active in the energy sector and other sectors covered or soon to be covered by the EU ETS, e.g. energy-intensive industries, aviation, shipping, road transport and construction.
