Compliance & Crisis Communication Seminar
On Tuesday, 17 October 2017, NautaDutilh and PR & communications firm FINN will organise a compliance & crisis communication working lunch.
As you know, compliance comes at a cost, but non-compliance can be even more costly. This is especially true when it comes to crisis communication.
Indeed, appropriate communication is of the utmost importance when a crisis situation arises, such as when a manager or employee misappropriates company assets; management and/or employees engage in under-the-table payments or money laundering; the company is involved in an unfortunate accident that causes harm to its employees and people from the community; or serious cybersecurity issues are discovered.
The seminar will address two very interesting and topical compliance and communication subjects:
- crisis communication when it appears that things may go wrong and when they actually do;
- and actions that should be taken from a legal standpoint in order to limit the (existing and potential) damage.
The seminar will be structured around four case studies which will be presented by NautaDutilh in cooperation with FINN. Based on these hypotheticals, we'll analyse the various compliance risks and their (legal and other) consequences and explore together the steps you can and should take to prevent compliance issues from arising and to deal with the fallout should such issues nonetheless arise.
We hope you will be able to make it as we predict a lively, interactive discussion and are sure you will come away with plenty of ideas on how to improve or strengthen compliance within your organisation. We will also provide you with insight into and tips on a good communication strategy.
Don't miss out on this interesting event. You are of course welcome to sign up as from today by sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
