On 10 November 2020, a bill introducing legislation on the management and supervision of legal entities (the "Act") was adopted by the Upper House of the Dutch Parliament. The Act is expected to enter into force on 1 January 2021. The new legislation aims to unify the rules on the management and supervision of various types of legal entities and will affect the management and supervision of foundations, associations, cooperatives and mutual insurance companies, amongst others.
