On Wednesday 30 October, Bastiaan will present this 9th edition to Professor Emeritus W.J. Slagter, who wrote the previous eight editions. This will take place at a symposium held by the Erasmus School of Law to mark the 90th birthday of Professor Slagter.

This 9th edition of the compendium, which will also be available as an e-book, deals with corporate law in the wide sense and consists of three volumes that together comprise more than 3,000 pages. The compendium is intended for practitioners of corporate law in the wide sense, varying from the advanced (master’s degree) student to the legislator, the judge, the lawyer, the company lawyer, the academic and entrepreneurs interested in legal affairs or other people involved in the company.

As well as being a counsel at NautaDutilh, Bastiaan is also a professor of corporate law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam and a deputy justice at the Arnhem-Leeuwarden Court of Justice.
