Belgian Corporate Governance Code 2020
On 9 May 2019, the government presented the Belgian Corporate Governance Code 2020 (the "Code"). The Code, which replaces the 2004 and 2009 versions, applies to listed companies, now defined by the new Code on Companies and Associations as companies incorporated in Belgium whose shares are admitted to trading on a regulated market.
