This is our third dashboard for Belgian listed companies, covering the second half of 2015.

There was substantial legislative activity (mostly proposals) affecting listed companies in the second half of the year, although with limited impact in the months to come. In 2016, listed companies will need to keep an eye in particular on the Market Abuse Regulation (MAR), which will apply as from 3 July 2016.

Although it does not represent an overhaul, the MAR will affect several measures taken by listed companies to prevent market abuse (such as closed periods and insider lists). Our Capital Markets team will organize a seminar in Q2 2016 on this subject.
