Dealmakers of the week: Arjan Scheltema and Ruud Smits
Mr. Magazine names them this week's Dealmakers because of their advisory roles in Carval Investors' and Vesting Finance's acquisition of the real estate financing activities of RNHB Hypotheekbank.
RNHB Hypotheekbank is a division of FGH Bank N.V, a fully owned subsidiary of Rabobank. Vesting Finance is a subsidiary of Arrow Global Group. The transaction comprises of the entire division of RNHB, including some 60 employees, a loan portfolio of some EUR1.7 billion and a customer database of some 9 thousand loans.
