Dutch law firms together against cybercrime
AKD, Bird & Bird LLP, De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek, Dirkzwager, Houthoff, Kennedy Van der Laan, Lexence, Loyens & Loeff, NautaDutilh, Nysingh, Pels Rijcken, Stibbe, Trip, Van Benthem & Keulen and Van Doorne have announced to work together in the fight against cybercrime and digital threats. A significant group front runners that, in the event of proven success, also look forward to connecting with other law firms.
In order to come up with good solutions for dealing with cyber threats and vulnerabilities, the Legal Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Legal-ISAC) has been set up in collaboration with the National Cyber Security Center. This initiative was taken by the Corporate Information Security Officers of NautaDutilh (chair) and Loyens & Loeff (vice chair). Within the Legal-ISAC, the participating offices exchange information and experiences about cybersecurity, vulnerabilities and current threats. In addition, the aim is to increase both the level of protection and awareness within the sector, according to NautaDutilh's Corporate Information Security Officer.
