Today, 6 October 2020, the Upper Chamber of the Dutch Parliament approved the Act on the Confirmation of an Extrajudicial Restructuring Plan ("CERP"). The bill - also referred to as the 'Dutch scheme' - was approved by the Lower Chamber of Parliament in May of this year. It is expected to enter into force on 1 January 2021.
