Yesterday the Court of Justice of the European Union ("CJEU") ruled that dynamic IP addresses constitute personal data within the meaning of Article 2(a) of Directive 95/46 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data ("Directive 95/46") (case c-582/14 ).
