For the 12th Consecutive Year, Belgian and International Law Firms will take part in the Brussels 20K to support 'Les Enfants de Salus Sanguinis'.
On 29 May 2016, over 480 lawyers and staff from 47 national and international law firms based in Brussels will join forces and run under the Legal Run banner as one team in the annual 20K run through Brussels. The recent turbulent times experienced in Brussels, have certainly not discouraged Legal Runners from uniting and running in 2016. This year, the Legal Run is proud to support Les Enfants de Salus Sanguinis.
Les Enfants de Salus Sanguinis is a Belgian charity based at Saint Luke’s University Hospital where it works with children fighting cancer. Through games and holiday camps, Les Enfants de Salus Sanguinus aims to ease the physical and emotional burdens on these sick children. Where necessary, it can also provide support (including financial support) to parents who want to find accommodation closer to the hospital without having to move or leave their jobs. More information can be found on the charity’s website www.lesenfantsdesalus.be.
The Legal Run has become a tradition within the Brussels legal community. Each participating firm sponsors its runners who run collectively for the same charity. The Legal Run is not only a fun sporting event for lawyers and staff alike it also provides great exposure and financial support for the selected charity.
