  • 26-03-2014 and published an article today in which NautaDutilh partner Gaike Dalenoord is quoted. He speaks of an increased activity in the European M&A market.  

Dalenoord notices more cross-border activity in the transactions practice, in particular by American investors, which has an effect on the M&A market. He sees the increase in investments and funding as a result of more capital in the market and also increasingly speaks to clients about possible future transactions. According to Dalenoord, "the trend will persevere as long as buyers and sellers parties continue to have faith in the recovery of our economy."

The Lawyer recently reported on figures published by Thomson Reuters, which show a remarkable increase of the European M&A market by more than a third in the first quarter of this year compared to the same period last year.
