The Executive Board of the Municipality of Amsterdam has appointed Homme ten Have as a member of the Supervisory Board of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam on Wednesday. Homme is one of the four new members of the board. In the new year, the board's most important task will be the selection and appointment of a new artistic director; Homme will also join the committee that will be closely involved in this procedure.

His main reason to apply for a position as a supervisor is the role and position that the Stedelijk has in Amsterdam, Homme says. "The Stedelijk is one of the most prominent cultural institutions in Amsterdam, and therefore the Netherlands. Recently is has gone through some turbulent times and I really wanted to make a contribution. And I live just around the corner so I could not ignore that feeling."

Also, the firm warmly welcomes fee earners fulfilling social functions such as these, says Petra Zijp: "Corporate social responsibility is about social involvement and the best way to make that clear is through the personal commitment of our professionals. Next to that, it leads to a further broadening and deepening of personal experiences, expertise and our network."
