Ianika Tzanikova guest lecturer at Stanford University
Last spring, Ianika Tzanikova spent three months in sunny California as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar. She was invited to the renowned Stanford University to teach a course on Transnational Litigation with Prof. Deborah Hensler.
Prof. Hensler is one of the most prominent and influential experts in the field of class actions and mass torts litigation. Daan Lunsingh Scheurleer also provided a guest-lecture.
The Fulbright International Educational Exchange Program, which was established in 1946 by the American senator J. William Fulbright, is a worldwide scholarship programme that enables an exchange of students and academic staff between the United States and other countries. It is the most prestigious international exchange programme with the United States. On 24 September 2012, Ianika will attend a reception at the United States Embassy in The Hague in honour of the 2011-2012 Fulbright Scholars.
