
Leo Groothuis and 'our' Bakker Bart – Project Pink Panther deal win at the 2019 Dutch M&A Awards
Leo Groothuis has won the Best M&A Lawyer award, while 'our' Bakker Bart – Project Pink Panther deal has won the Best Deal Small Cap award. The winners were announced on Thursday, 12 December, at the annual M&A Awards in Amsterdam.

The Bakker Bart – Project Pink Panther deal, where we advised Bakerstreet and the Companjen family, was voted the 2019 Best Small Cap Deal. The Companjen family became the new sponsor and indirect majority shareholder of Bakker Bart. With this partnership between Bakerstreet and Bakker Bart, the parties have created a unique platform in the foodservice market in the Netherlands. The cooperation will enable the company to accelerate its growth strategy.
