"The fact that this year's IBA Annual Litigation Forum is fully focused on climate change litigation underlines how much climate cases are on the rise,' says Marieke. 'The panel will give an overview of the current state of play of climate change litigation against governments and look ahead at future developments. We will discuss the role of climate litigation brought by civil society in shaping a state's climate commitments, and also consider the impact of climate-related investor-state arbitration."

This year's IBA Annual Litigation Forum takes place on 27-29 April 2022 in London.
