NautaDutilh advises DFDS on sale of DFDS Seaways Maasvlakte B.V.
NautaDutilh assisted Danish-based DFDS A/S on the sale of its 100% subsidiary DFDS Seaways Maasvlakte B.V. to the Rhenus group.
DFDS is northern Europe's largest integrated shipping and logistics company and has, after the sale of DFDS Seaways Maasvlakte B.V., one site situated in the Rotterdam Harbour which mainly provides ro-ro freight activities. DFDS was founded in 1866, is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark and has 5,000 employees in 20 countries.
DFDS is listed on NASDAQ OMX Copenhagen. DFDS Seaways Maasvlakte B.V. operates a deep sea break-bulk terminal in Rotterdam Maasvlakte and employs approximately 30 employees.
