NautaDutilh advises on financing the acquisition of Vietti Foods by Zwanenberg Food Group B.V.
NautaDutilh's loan finance team has advised ING Bank N.V. and Coöperatieve Centrale Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank B.A. on arranging financing for Zwanenberg for the acquisition of its American competitor Vietti Foods Inc. (Nashville, Tennessee).
Zwanenberg is one of the leading European producers and exporters of cold and canned meats. This acquisition will allow Zwanenberg to strengthen its existing position in the United States with regard to canned meats and to expand its product range on the American market. The acquisition took place on 1 March 2011.
The transaction was supervised by Thijs Lommen and Monieke Linck from NautaDutilh.
