NautaDutilh advises Rabobank on its agreement with crowdfunding platforms
NautaDutilh advised Rabobank on its entering into agreements with Collin Crowdfund and Oneplanetcrowd, two Netherlands-based crowdfunding platforms, on 28 April 2016. Some of Rabobank's clients cannot or not fully fund their plans with 'regular' bank financing. For these clients, crowdfunding can be an interesting alternative or supplement to the more traditional methods of financing.
Rabobank can now inform its clients of the possibilities of crowdfunding and refer them to the two crowdfunding platforms with which Rabobank entered into an agreement. Rabobank only refers the clients to the platforms and does not offer them advice: the choice to make use of crowdfunding is ultimately made by the client.
