NautaDutilh has advised, as Dutch co-counsel to Latham & Watkins London, the Sappi group in connection with the refinancing of part of its outstanding debt. The refinancing included a USD 700 million bond offering and the entering into a new EUR 350 million Revolving Credit Facility.
Sappi is a global producer of sustainable paper, paper-pulp and chemical cellulose products used by printers, publishers and corporate end-users in the production of books, magazines, catalogues, direct mail and other print applications. Sappi has manufacturing operations on four continents, sales in over 100 countries and an annual production capacity for paper of 6.6 million tons, for pulp of 3.3 million tons and for chemical cellulose of 800,000 tons. Sappi Limited is listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
