NautaDutilh advises Thales on EUR 4.6 billion offer for Gemalto

On December 17, 2017, our client Thales S.A. announced that it has reached agreement with the digital security company Gemalto N.V. on a €4.6 billion recommended all-cash public offer for all shares of Gemalto. The offer by Thales is announced less than a week after French IT company Atos announced its unsolicited offer for Gemalto, which was rejected by the Gemalto Board.
