NautaDutilh advises Vodafone in relation to Vodafone's acquisition of Belcompany
Vodafone and Macintosh Retail Group N.V. signed a binding offer letter on 22 March 2011 with respect to the sale of all shares in the capital of Belcompany B.V. to Vodafone for an amount of EUR 120 million.
Belcompany is the largest independent retailer and specialist in the Dutch telecom market with in excess of 175 shops and approximately 1,000 employees. Belcompany also operates the discount formula telefoonkopen.nl with approximately 150 employees. Conditions to signing and closing are amongst other completion of the employee consultation procdures and approval of the transaction by the NMa (Dutch Competition Authority).
