Nicolet worked at Heineken for 11 years, where she designed and implemented Strategic Workforce Planning, and developed an HR strategy for the company's Zoeterwoude brewery. Nicolet started her career as a lawyer. She holds a degree in Dutch law from the University of Groningen.

Jan Hein started his new role as BMC Director on 1 November. He will focus on accelerating the commercial impact of the firm's business development, marketing and communications activities. Jan Hein is an experienced professional with a strong international background in sales leadership, with companies like Fircroft, Randstad and Leaseplan. Jan Hein studied international law, and air & space law at the University of Amsterdam, and began his career as a lawyer at Freshfields in London.

Jaap Jan Trommel, board member NautaDutilh: “We are thrilled that Nicolet and Jan Hein are joining the firm. In a legal landscape with ever-increasing competition, we focus on developing a first class workforce and building a clear and powerful market narrative that sets the firm apart from competition. This is where Nicolet and Jan Hein will be stepping up our HR and BMC efforts, with the needs of our clients always at the centre. We wish them much success at NautaDutilh.
