International law firm NautaDutilh has appointed Nicolet Beetsma as its new HR Director and Jan Hein Bax as its new Business Development, Marketing and Communications Director. With these appointments, NautaDutilh strengthens its HR and BMC departments. Both Directors will be members of the firm's Executive Committee.

Nicolet Beetsma started as HR Director on 2 October, and is responsible for implementing a leading HR strategy that reflects the firm's culture of teamwork. Together with her team, she will further strengthen NautaDutilh's position as an 'employer of choice' for current and future professionals, with particular attention for talent development. Nicolet worked at Heineken for 11 years, where she designed and implemented Strategic Workforce Planning, and developed an HR strategy for the company's Zoeterwoude brewery. Nicolet started her career as a lawyer. She holds a degree in Dutch law from the University of Groningen.

Jan Hein started his new role as BMC Director on 1 November. He will focus on accelerating the commercial impact of the firm's business development, marketing and communications activities. Jan Hein is an experienced professional with a strong international background in sales leadership, with companies like Fircroft, Randstad and Leaseplan. Jan Hein studied international law, and air & space law at the University of Amsterdam, and began his career as a lawyer at Freshfields in London.
