NautaDutilh assisted FairPhone on its EUR 49 million investment round
After assisting with the Series A investment round in 2018, NautaDutilh assisted long-standing client FairPhone with its EUR 49 million Series B investment round. An international consortium of impact investors led by new shareholders Invest-NL, ABN AMRO Sustainable Impact Fund and existing shareholder Quadia with its Regenero Impact Fund, joined forces with other existing shareholders DALHAP, DOEN Participaties and PDENH.
FairPhone is building a market for ethical phones and motivating the industry to act more responsibly. This investment enables FairPhone to accelerate growth and scale impact while pursuing its impact-driven mission towards fairer electronics.
Sybren de Beurs led the team on this transaction. Sybren notes: "Happy and proud to have assisted FairPhone in this financing round, contributing to their mission for a fairer and more sustainable electronics industry."
