NautaDutilh assisted HV Capital on the EUR 5.4 million seed funding of Instant Commerce. The round was led by HV Capital and joined by Hearst Ventures and existing investor firstminute capital.
HV Capital is a Munich and Berlin-based venture capital firm that supports founders in developing their internet companies. HV Capital has invested in Internet and technology companies through various generations of funds and is one of the most successful and financially strongest early-stage and growth investors in Europe. HV Capital has already invested in around 200 companies, including Zalando, Delivery Hero, FlixMobility and SumUp.
Instant Commerce is the headless front-end builder for fast-growing E-commerce brands. Headless means that the front-end and back-end technology are disconnected and no coding is required to build a web shop for the user. For their customers, this provides efficiency and speed advantages because they no longer need a developer to build a web shop, but the customer can take care of this himself.
"We are pleased to have assisted HV Capital on not one but two investments in the Netherlands over this summer" says lead partner Rebecca Pinto.
The NautaDutilh team further consisted of Willem Bijveld and Frans Ruijs (Corporate M&A), Daan Hagelstein and Sanne Meester (Notarial Law), Edward Rijnhout and Sjuul Jentjens (Tax), Michelle Slimmen (Intellectual Property) and Susanne van Leeuwen (Employment).
