NautaDutilh assisted the shareholders of Koninklijke CSK Food Enrichment C.V. in the sale of CSK to Royal DSM
Royal DSM, a global science-based company in nutrition, health and sustainable living, reached agreement with the shareholders of Royal CSK, a specialty dairy solutions provider, on the acquisition of a 100% interest in CSK. Subject to customary conditions, the transaction is expected to close before the end of the year.
The combination of DSM’s dairy business and CSK will be even better able to serve the fast-growing and attractive dairy cultures markets. With the acquisition of CSK, DSM will further strengthen its product portfolio and application know-how and expertise in food & beverage, in particular in the complementary area of taste, texture and bio-preservation solutions for semi-hard cheeses such as Dutch heritage cheeses Gouda and Edam. The two companies share a long history of serving food and beverage markets, with deep roots in the Netherlands.
NautaDutilh’s core team, who worked in close collaboration with Rabobank M&A, was led by Jeroen Preller and Fenna van Zanten and further consisted of: Naomi Asscheman, Sophie van Lanschot, Sjuul Jentjens and Edward Rijnhout, Mauricette Schaufeli and Jasmijn Koetsveld, Albert van der Kolk, Daniel Kuiper and Arjan Koorevaar.
