NautaDutilh assists Bonaire National Marine Park
At the request of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), the Bonaire National Parks Foundation (STINAPA) and Sea Turtle Conservation Bonaire, Anne-Marie Klijn and Berend Haagen are now on Bonaire to advise and represent these organisations in litigation aimed at enforcing the legal protection of Bonaire National Marine Park. A hearing is being held today, on World Oceans Day. What a great way for us to mark this special UN-designated day celebrating the ocean's beauty, wealth and promise.
The mission of the Bonaire National Marine Park is to protect and manage the island's natural, cultural and historical resources for the benefit of future generations, while allowing ecologically sustainable use.
