NautaDutilh assisted Deutsche Telekom in its acquisition of telecom infrastructure operator GTS Central Europe. GTS is a leading provider of integrated telecommunications solutions and datacentre services throughout Central and Eastern Europe. The transaction has a value of approx. EUR 546 million.
GTS Central European Holding B.V. was formerly known as AnTel Holdings B.V. and changed its name in December 2004. The company was founded in 1993 and is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. GTS Central European Holding B.V. is a former subsidiary of Antel Holdings Ltd. GTS closed 2012 with an EBITDA of EUR 103 million on revenue of EUR 387 million; GTS employs approx.1,350 employees. The transaction was structured through the acquisition of the shares of a Luxembourg holding company that heads the target group. NautaDutilh worked alongside Noerr LLP and Travers Smith LLP.
