NautaDutilh assisted Marcel Boekhoorn and his investment vehicle Ramphastos Real Estate Investments B.V. (Ramphastos) in its sale of the High Tech Campus Eindhoven (HTCE) to funds managed by the American investment manager Oaktree Capital Management (Oaktree).
Since the acquisition of the HTCE by Marcel Boekhoorn in March 2012, the HTCE has been in continuous development. The HTCE now houses more than 235 companies and institutions employing in total approx. 12,000 researchers, developers and entrepreneurs. HTCE owns eighty thousand square meter of ground that can be used for further development. The ambition of Oaktree is to realise that development within the next five to seven years.
