NautaDutilh assists private equity firm Astorg with its acquisition of IPCOM
NautaDutilh assisted Astorg with its acquisition of IPCOM, a pan-European leading B2B specialty distributor of technical and building insulation products. Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Melle (Belgium), IPCOM today employs 1,100 people across 15 countries in 64 outlets and 15 conversion sites. The company has more than 15,000 daily customers in a wide range of industries and distributes more than 50,000 SKUs and manages more than 250,000 shipments per year.
NautaDutilh acted as Belgian and Dutch counsel alongside lead counsel Latham & Watkins.
"It was great to work for Astorg alongside the Latham & Watkins team. The entrance of Astorg will undoubtedly strengthen IPCOM's unique buy-and-build platform, allowing the group to further expand its geographical footprint, acquire new core competencies and diversify its portfolio of insulation products in adjacent markets. Many thanks to all involved." says partner Philippe Remels.
Our Corporate M&A team further consisted of, among others, Olivier Van Wouwe, Louisa Vandepitte, Grace Nonneman (Belgium), Joost Kloosterman, Sophie Umans and Florine Kuipéri (the Netherlands).
