NautaDutilh assisted ABN AMRO Bank, Belfius Bank (as Joint Bookrunners and Joint Global Coordinators) and Joh. Berenberg, Gossler & Co. KG and KBC Securities (as Joint Bookrunners) in the framework of a EUR 110 million rights offering by Care Property Invest NV.
Care Property Invest has been listed on Euronext Brussels for over 25 years and invests in healthcare real estate for elderly and disabled people on the European market.
The offering consisted of a public offering to subscribe to the new shares in Belgium (with irreducible allocation rights) followed by a private placement of the scrips in an 'accelerated bookbuilding' in the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, but outside the United States. Following the private placement of the scrips, the offering was fully subscribed.
“The offering will allow Care Property Invest to finance the realisation of its pipeline of projects, to make additional investments in healthcare real estate in European markets and to reduce its debt ratio”
