In honor of International Coming Out Day on 11 October NautaDutilh hosts the conference 'Living & Working with HIV/AIDS' at its Amsterdam office organised with its Roze Zuidas-partners ABN AMRO, Accenture, BNY Mellon and Deloitte.

People from all walks of life are living and working with HIV and AIDS. In the Netherlands, approximately 23.000 people are infected with this virus but thanks to advances in treatment, people have the same life expectancy as those that are HIV negative. Today HIV is 'just' a chronic disease, but a negative stigma in the workplace remains.

During the International Coming Out Day Conference 2018 we will explore this topic with professionals from the health care industry, special guests from the HIV Vereniging and Dutch lawyer Oscar Hammerstein. We are proud to announce that the conference will be hosted by moderator Dolly Bellefleur.

Thanks to the ABN AMRO Cultuurfonds, we will also bring the Amsterdam Rainbow Dress to the conference.

For us at NautaDutilh, diversity is the understanding that we are all the same and that we are all different. We set out, as a firm, to understand, live and celebrate the differences and uniqueness every single one of us brings to the table. It is our firm's belief that valuing and pursuing diversity within our ranks, whether it concerns gender, culture, sexual orientation, participation or neurodiversity, will greatly contribute to the continued success of NautaDutilh. In short, opening the doors of our office to host a conference dealing with this topic goes without saying.
