
NautaDutilh in top 10 Most Innovative Law Firms Europe
In the FT Innovative Lawyers Europe 2019 report NautaDutilh ranks 10th. The ranking is an aggregate of each law firm and legal service provider’s performance in the report. The total score is the sum of scores for all ranked entries in the 14 law firm categories of the report.
Besides placing 10th on the list, NautaDutilh were highly recommended in several categories. Innovation: for the Legal Information Sharing and Analysis Centre (Legal-ISAC); Innovation in legal expertise: for creating a new standard, the Netherlands Commercial Court (NCC); Innovation in the rule of law and access to justice: for our involvement in the Urgenda case; and we were commended in the category Innovation in the business of law: Technology for our new virtual colleague Andy.
Established in Europe in 2006, the FT Innovative Lawyers programme is organised by The Financial Times together with RSG Consulting. It assesses law firms on their innovation for clients and in their own business. The goal of the programme is "to uncover the real value that lawyers deliver to business and reward the lawyers consistently furthering the interests of their clients, their own firms or companies and the profession itself". The rankings and awards are based on submissions and independent research from the FT and RSG Consulting. This year, they received over 800 submissions and nominations from 130 law firms and 50 in-house legal teams and conducted interviews with over 800 clients, senior lawyers, executives and experts.
