IAM Patent 1000 has once again recognised the members of NautaDutilh's Intellectual Property team as leading patent professionals.

Our Intellectual Property team is considered to be "a heavyweight of the patent scene both in the Benelux and beyond".

In the rankings for Belgium, Tanguy de Haan is praised for his pan-European litigation experience, “adopting a meticulous approach which leaves no stone unturned”, while IP practice co-head Florence Verhoestraete is described as “another crack litigator who earns plaudits for her ‘candid input and effective defence strategies’” as well as “direct and to the point, quickly getting to the heart of the matter, and a cool, impartial adviser. She is always well prepared in court, where she appears to be equally calm and confident”. Philippe Péters is singled out for his “encyclopaedic understanding of IP law”.

In the Dutch rankings, the team is described as being "as dynamic as the life sciences and telecommunications concerns whose expectations it consistently meets and exceeds”. Practice head Anne Marie Verschuur “belongs in the top tier of Dutch litigators. She has a great strategic grip on the cases she runs and has a great eye for detail”, while Jeroen Boelens is included in the rankings for the first time and is singled out for his “intuitive affinity for the tech and (…) great work for medical technology company Heraeus at the District Court of Rotterdam”.
