NautaDutilh named Best Diversity Firm at Dutch M&A Awards
NautaDutilh was named Best Diversity Firm at this year's Dutch M&A Awards. The award was presented this year for the first time to the firm that stood out the most in the area of diversity and inclusion. The jury recognised NautaDutilh in particular for our efforts to radically equalise rewards and benefits, without ifs and buts.
The jury was unanimously convinced that diversity and inclusion "flow through the veins" of NautaDutilh. They were particularly impressed by the concrete measures we have taken, such as the implementation of standards for inclusive language in communications and generous leave arrangements for both men and women upon the birth of a child, intended to narrow the gender gap in this area. Steps have also been taken to equalise remuneration within the firm. The jury further noted that our approach is highly multigenerational and takes into account the needs and wishes of both early stage lawyers and the older generation. Indeed, measures have been taken at every level to create an inclusive workplace in which diversity is reflected at the top.
'Inclusion is a very relevant topic for our firm and our talent, and this award enhances the visibility of this theme. I look forward to continuing the conversation with our peers and clients in the coming year. By sharing best practices, we can continue to learn and grow', says managing partner Petra Zijp.
