"We are very pleased to have Maartje and her team join NautaDutilh as of 1 July", says managing partner Jaap Jan Trommel. "Maartje is a leading employment lawyer, certified pension lawyer (CPL) and excellent litigator with extensive national and international experience. Her arrival fits in perfectly with our ambition of offering our international and national clients, as a full-service firm, a wide range of services at the highest level. We offer our clients multidisciplinary, innovative and practical solutions in the most complex and sensitive cases, and we recognise this in Maartje. With the strengthening of our Employment team, we are excellently positioned to continue making a difference for our clients."

Maartje Govaert: "Employment and pension law are always changing. After the pandemic, we not only see an overheated labour market, but also a focus on the 'new normal': flexibility, sustainability and inclusiveness. For employers and employees, this results in sensitive, complex and often cross-border legal challenges. Matters in which major interests are at stake and the human factor is always central. I therefore look forward to starting at NautaDutilh, a leading Benelux firm with a global network where, together with our team and other experts, I can offer our clients the adaptive and creative solutions these times call for."
