At its annual LGBT Leadership Awards Gala last week, Workplace Pride (WPP) presented the WPP Awards and announced the results of its Global Benchmark Survey.
NautaDutilh is proud with this year's results of LGBT inclusion (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) at the firm:
- nomination in one award category (Most Active Volunteer)
- number 1 in Top 5 Improvers (Global Benchmark Survey)
Compared with last year, NautaDutilh more than doubled its score from 24% to 51%.However, this new score is still just below the average score (58%) of all Global Benchmark Survey participants.
Hence, we’ve made great progress in just one year, yet still have a road ahead of us!
All NautaDutilh employees can join ND GLOBE
The improvements we made are the results of the efforts of our internal LGBT network: ND GLOBE. We would like to congratulate in particular the ND GLOBE board, consisting of Gerard Meijer, Lotte van der Leij, Boudewijn Smit, Rogier Jacobsz and Alexander Hijmering.
Membership of ND GLOBE is open to all colleagues who support LGBT inclusion on the work floor, a so-called "Ally". This means that anyone within the firm can be an Ally and membership is not exclusive to LGBT employees.
Global Benchmark Survey
The Global Benchmark Survey is a tool that measures the effectiveness of participating organisations’ LGBT workplace policies and practices, and their actual implementation in locations around the world. For the second year in a row, IBM was the highest scoring organisation in the Global Benchmark Survey with 87%.
