Pim Rank appointed professor at Leiden University
Pim Rank, partner at NautaDutilh, has been appointed as a Professor of Financial Law at the Faculty of Law of Leiden University with effect from 1 September 2012, whilst at the same time having terminated his professorship at Radboud University Nijmegen.
Pim Rank shall fulfil his academic duties within the Hazelhoff Centre for Financial Law of Leiden University. This Centre has been established to conduct research and to offer education in the area of financial law and, especially the international dimension thereof.
Pim Rank will continue to combine his academic duties with his work in NautaDutilh’s Banking & Finance practice group. Initially Pim will be working in Leiden for one day a week and in the course of time he will gradually intensify his work as professor.
Pim Rank advises clients in the areas of banking and securities law, concentrating primarily on financial products, derivatives, repo's, securities lending, securities custodial services, cash management and regulatory law. He was appointed as a partner of NautaDutilh in 1997.
Pim Rank is one of the 14 professors in NautaDutilh's professional ranks. For NautaDutilh, bridging the gap between legal science and practice is a matter of essential importance.
