NautaDutilh has been nominated for five awards at the 2020 Dutch M&A Awards. The firm is nominated for Best M&A Law Firm and Best M&A Law Firm under Dutch Law.

Joost den Engelsman is on the shortlist for Best M&A Lawyer Mid-Market and Marieke Pols and Jos Somers are both up for Best Young M&A Lawyer.

NautaDutilh worked on many of the deals that were shortlisted this year. The firm was involved in four of the six deals nominated for Best Deal: Blackstone's acquisition of a majority stake in NIBC from J.C. Flowers, the acquisition of Royal IHC by HAL Investments, Ackermans & Van Haaren and others, the acquisition of Eneco Group by Mitsubishi Corporation and Chubu Electric Power, and the merger of Takeaway and Just Eat. In the Best Deal Mid-Cap category, NautaDutilh was involved in the acquisition by Astorg Partners of a majority stake in Normec Group and DSM's acquisition of CSK. The IPO of CureVac, on which NautaDutilh advised, has been nominated for Best ECM deal.

The winners will be announced on 10 December at a virtual awards ceremony, as the annual M&A Awards event at the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam will this year largely take place online. For an overview of all nominees, please click here.
