RICS appoints real estate partner David van Dijk as RICS accredited Civil Commercial Mediator
The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) has appointed real estate partner David van Dijk as RICS accredited Civil Commercial Mediator. He is now one of only two Dutch lawyers with this accreditation.
RICS is the largest global organisation of professionals in the real estate industry. Founded in 1868, RICS currently has over 118,000 members worldwide.
David van Dijk is a member of RICS and chairman of the Dutch RICS mediation committee that - on behalf of RICS Netherlands - wrote the analysis of the proposal for the draft Mediation law (Wet houdende regels ter bevordering van de kwaliteit van mediators en het gebruik van mediation als alternatieve vorm van geschiloplossing).
