Robert van Galen elected Vice President of INSOL Europe
On 11 October, Robert van Galen was elected Vice President of INSOL Europe. This means that he will be president of this association in the year 2014-2015. Over the last two years, in relation to INSOL Europe, Robert has focused on developing proposals for changing the European Insolvency Regulation.
INSOL Europe is an association of lawyers and accountants that practice insolvency law and/or act as receivers. The association has more than 1,100 members throughout Europe. INSOL Europe holds various congresses and seminars, publishes journals and is active in developing international insolvency law. More than 500 lawyers, accountants, scholars, judges and bankers took part in the annual congress that was held in Brussels from 11 to 13 October.
