Ruud Smits 'Dealmaker of the week'
Mr. Magazine has named Ruud Smits 'dealmaker of the week'. Ruud led the NautaDutilh team that assisted private equity firm Charlesbank Capital Partners in the acquisition of Netherlands based Polyconcept, the world's largest supplier of promotional products, from investment firm Investcorp Bank.
Charlesbank focuses on management-led buyouts and growth capital financings, generally investing in companies with enterprise values of $150 million to $1 billion. Charlesbank Capital Partners is based in Boston and New York City.
Every week, Mr. Magazine selects a lawyer who has been involved in a notable transaction. This time, the title went to Ruud Smits.
