ShoreTension, an innovative joint venture, has been named as one of the three nominees for the Rotterdam Entrepreneur Prize 2015 ('Rotterdamse Ondernemersprijs 2015'). NautaDutilh is also proud of this nomination because we contributed to this innovation.

A NautaDutilh team handled the legal documentation for the joint venture and the rollout of the unique ShoreTension system. We advised both shareholders All-round Port Services B.V. and ECT Participaties B.V.

ShoreTension is a unique mooring system based on a permanent tension of the shore mooring lines of sea-going vessels. This means that, even in the case of strong winds and swell, vessels can moor more safely and can be loaded and unloaded at full capacity. The system exploits the forces created by waves and requires no external energy. The system is now in use throughout the world. See more in this innovation in this video
