On 25 May, The European Union's new General Data Protection Regulation comes into force. GDPR replaces the 1995 Data Protection Directive and applies directly to each of the 28 EU member states. But it also applied to anyone transferring data to a company or entity in one of the member states. It is, in the words of more than one expert, a game changer.
But will Luxemborg businesses be ready for GDPR compliance on deadline day? Who will benefit from those changes?
