Wording of the amended Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) Act (Wwft)
On the 25th of July 2018 the Implementation act of the fourth anti-money laundering directive came into force. This act amends amongst others the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) Act ("Wwft"). The government has yet to provide the consolidated text of the current Wwft. We have therefore drafted the wording of the amended Wwft, as currently in force (in Dutch), based on the Implementation act.
At the same time as the Wwft, the Implementing regulation Wwft (Uitvoeringsregeling Wwft) and the Implementation decree Wwft (Uitvoeringsbesluit Wwft) have also been amended.
