The new type of leave means that all NautaDutilh employees are eligible for paid leave associated with transition and change of gender expression, regardless of their position or employment status.
As a firm, NautaDutilh is committed to creating a safe, inclusive working environment where all employees can express their individuality at work without fear of discrimination. "Updating our policies is part of promoting a culture of respect for individuals and supporting them through key life events. When our firm's policies clearly and unambiguously reflect that ambition, they directly contribute to a more inclusive environment for all,” says board member Sjoerd Meijer.
Geert Raaijmakers, one of the Inclusion Partners adds: "We want to make sure that our employees feel cared for. The new policy on transition and change of gender expression leave is an example of how we together try to create a place of belonging, where our people can be their authentic selves."
